国际四大、国内十大与国内非十大的审计质量--来自2003年中国上市公司的经验证据

本文以可操控性应计作为公司盈余管理的表征变量,以抑制盈余管理的能力定义审计质量,以所审客户总资产划分国内十大与国内非十大,考察了四大的合作所①、国内十大②、国内非十大的审计质量差异,即考察三者在抑制公司报告的可操控性应计方面有无显著差异。本文使用2003年所有A股上市公司的数据,采用两步回归的方法,通过加入inverse Mills ratio变量,控制会计师事务所选择的自选择偏误。研究结果表明,四大与国内十大、国内十大与国内非十大在抑制公司报告可操控性应计上存在显著差异。从而表明,四大的审计质量高于国内十大,国内十大的审计质量高于国内非十大。另外,实证结果还表明,公司在选择四大还是国内十大、国内十大还是国内非十大上有显著的选择倾向,因此也表明了控制自选择偏误的必要。

浅谈机关事业单位养老保险改革

机关事业单位养老保险制度改革试点工作从1993年就开始了，1995年基本上覆盖了大半个中国。运行十多年来。机关事业养老保险在实践中取得了很大的成绩，但由于国家没有统一的机关事业养老保险政策，问题和矛盾比较突出。并且，即使在企业职工养老保险制度进行大刀阔斧改革时。国家机关、事业单位工作人员的养老保险制度也基本没有涉及。

On the diffusion of inconsistencies in linear regression

We present a general result relating inconsistencies in estimating coefficients of correctly measured regressors to inconsistencies in estimating coefficients of incorrectly measured regressors. The result is reinterpreted to apply in simultaneous equation models.     

Mind the Gap: Inconsistencies Between Subjective and Objective Financial Risk Tolerance

Investors' financial risk tolerance is crucial in the formulation of suitable financial advice; in the past, assessment efforts relied on multiple approaches and techniques, but their consistency is still an issue. The authors focus on 2 metrics traditionally proposed (self-assessment and portfolio composition) and test their mutual consistency on a sample of 2,374 investors. The approach allows them to discriminate between inconsistencies due to wrong portfolio compositions and those arising from wrong self-assessments. The authors show that low financial literacy, high income, no children, and incautious economic behavior are commonly associated with such inconsistencies.     

Re-examination of team’s play in a mixed-strategy game experiment

Palacios-Huerta and Volij (2008) found that the behaviour of professional soccer players in two-person zero-sum games is consistent with minimax play, while Wooders (2010) re-examined their data and found inconsistencies in several respects. This study applies a similar analysis of Wooders (2010) to the experimental data in Okano (2013), which found that the behaviour of teams of two-student subjects conforms closely to minimax play, and addresses whether teams exhibit the same inconsistencies as professionals. Teams were found to have consistency with minimax play, with no tendencies similar to those of professionals.     

A method for the analysis of interrelationships between mutually connected events: A cross-impact method

A cross-impact method is developed and adapted to the Socialist planning system, specifically economic growth in Hungary. The method makes it possible to estimate probabilities of occurence of interrelated events, to investigate the chains of effects of such events, and to minimize inconsistencies.     

Contests with spying: A comment

The subject of the following comment is a paper by Baik and Shogren which has been published in this journal (Vol. 11, No. 3 (1995) pp. 441–451). In their game-theoretic model, Baik and Shogren connect the informational states of the agents in a way which leads to inconsistencies.     

A uniqueness result for extending orders; with application to collective choice as inconsistency resolution

Two axioms about extending a weak ordering of a set Ω to its power set 2^Ω uniquely determine a lexicographic weak ordering of 2^Ω. The solution is applied to collective choice to resolve majority cycle inconsistencies, and also contrasted with Condorcet.

Specification and Estimation of ELES

The Extended Linear Expenditure System b reformulated to yield private per capita net worth as the basic explanatory variable. As a by-product the model implies that the marginal propensity to consume/save out of permanent income varies with the rate of interest. In the estimation, account is taken of inconsistencies in data compiled from different sources by explicity including the savings relationship in the system. Parameter estimates based on Australian data are presented.     

HAVE PRICE POLICIES DAMAGED LDC AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTIVITY?

This paper examines price policies and agricultural productivity in 18 developing countries over the period 1961–1985. We measure productivity with both a nonparametric Malmquist index and a production function, confirming previous findings of declining agricultural productivity, but with sufficient inconsistencies as to raise concern about the adequacy of the methods. We nonetheless find considerable support for the hypothesis that unfavorable price policies have damaged agricultural productivity performance in these countries. (JEL 04, Ql)     

团队异质性对团队效能的影响研究——以领导行为作为调节变量

团队成员异质性对团队效能的影响这一问题受到了许多学者的关注。本文以I-P-O模型为基础,以问卷调查的方法实证研究了团队异质性通过团队过程对团队效能产生影响的作用机制,同时引入了领导行为作为调节这种影响的变量。本文认为,团队成员异质性通过作用于团队过程而对团队效能产生了显著的负面影响,而关系型的领导行为则会有效地调节成员异质性对团队效能的负面作用。
