Public trust and corruption perception: disaster relief

Public trust in government and nongovernment organizations is essential to the public’s willingness to donate and to support those organizations. We measure public trust in disaster aid using people’s perception of these organizations’ effectiveness in delivering aid relief to the victims of two recent major earthquakes in China. Based on the survey data collected in 2013 from about 2100 residents in Hong Kong, we document the vulnerability of these residents’ trust perceptions in aid delivery. We find that the sharp decline in trust perception is highly negatively correlated with their perception of corruption of local governments in China.

黄金周存废：来自游客行为与满意度特征的研究

游客在黄金周旅游期间的行为特征及其对目的地满意度的评价不仅有助于宏观决策过程中对黄金周制度进行评价、如何提升黄金周旅游品质具有重要参考价值,同时也在理论上构成对消费者满意度研究的重要补充。基于西安大唐美蓉园、汉窑遗址公园、西安城墙等3个景区984份问卷的调查数据,对旅游者在十一黄金周旅游期间的行为特征和满意度特征进行了系统研究。结果显示：游客在黄金周期间的行为特征与相关研究中的结果没有较大差别,但仍表现出更加多元化的特征;而在满意度方面,黄金周期间的各项满意度水平也与相关研究中非黄金周期间的满意度水平基本一致。研究认为,黄金周制度并没有对游客的目的地行为造成很大影响,至于黄金周制度造成旅游服务质量下降的结论也缺乏显著数据支撑,从城市发展角度提升目的地的基础设施水平和可进人性才是提升游客满意度的关键。     

Consumers’ Perceived Value and Willingness to Purchase Organic Food

ABSTRACT

The demand for organic products has rapidly expanded worldwide in recent years. However, the organic market remains a niche market in most countries, and research in this area remains limited. Further investigation is necessary to better understand consumer perceptions about organic food and the circumstances in which they are willing to purchase organic food. Accordingly, the authors seek to understand the perceived value that consumers associate with organic food and the factors that impact their willingness to purchase organic food. This study is exploratory in nature and uses a qualitative approach through the use of in-depth interviews. Findings from the study suggest that consumers who perceive a positive value with regard to organic food are more willing to purchase organic food, in which health was the primary perceived benefit. For consumers who perceive a negative value with regard to organic food, they are less willing to purchase organic food. Many did not see any difference between organic food and nonorganic food. Instead, they viewed the prices of organic food as being expensive and argued that more efforts are needed on their part to source for organic food. Implications and recommendations from research findings are also presented.     

发展绿色建筑 落实可持续发展

改革开放30年来,福建省城乡面貌发生了巨大的变化,城镇化水平南改革开放初期的13.7%提高到48.7%,城市数量从8个增加到23个,城市基础设施和功能不断完善,已建成城市污水处理厂38座、日处理能力220多万吨、居全国第9位,垃圾无害化处理场23座、日处理能力1万多吨、居全国第6位.建筑业也得到了前所未有的发展,企业规模得到扩大,支柱地位日益显现,去年建筑业产值达1600多亿元.房地产业从无到有,不断发展壮大,改善了居民居住条件,为百姓安居乐业作出了积极贡献,目前人均居住面积达34m2、居全国前列.     

Analysis of nutrient content and assessment of economic value for major salt-tolerant plants in coastal areas: a case study of Dongying City,Shandong Province

Salinization of soil is a worldwide problem concerning resources and ecology,especially serious in coastal areas.Testing of 26 sorts of data or parameters are carried out on leaves of 22 plant species (in 24 plant variety) of existing main salt-tolerant plant of the Yellow River Delta region.Data or parameters include the following elements:contents of K+,Na+,Ca2+,Mg2+ and Cl-,contents of protein,fat,total energy,ash and contents of 17 amino acids.The results show that these tested plants have economic values.For example,according to their uses,they can be divided into edible plants,forage plants,medicine or health plants,and some of them can be used for multipurposes.These plants have played important roles in the sustainable utilization of plant resources in coastal areas.This paper has taken evaluations on the economic uses of salt-tolerant plants and given suggestions for saline soil improvement and resource utilization in coastal areas.Based on the results of investigation and experiments,we suppose that the salt-tolerant plants in coastal areas can be grouped into 9 main groups according to their eeonomic value:pioneer plants for saline land improvement,medicine,edible and forage plants,industry material forestation,breeding material,energy plants and eco-tourism resources.     

民办高校本科电子商务专业教学改革探索
