DZ-10G焦化汽油加氢精制催化剂的性能及应用

开发了一种汽油加氢精制催化剂,并实现了首次工业应用.工业应用结果表明,该催化剂在处理大庆常顶汽油和焦化汽油的混合油时,在入口压力2.5 MPa,体积空速2.2 h-1,氢油体积比263∶1～272∶1,反应器入口温度220 ℃、反应器出口温度262 ℃的条件下,生产的石脑油烯烃含量小于2.0 %(体积分数),符合乙烯裂解装置对其的技术指标要求.     

畜禽养殖业废水处理技术研究与应用

针对我国畜禽养殖业废水污染日益严重的现状,介绍了畜禽废水还田利用、自然处理、工业化处理的优缺点以及国内外应用现状与研究的重点。并结合我国的实际情况,提出现阶段我国养殖业废水应重点发展还田利用技术与自然处理技术,及时建立畜禽废水处理设计数据库与编写设计规范。

Multiple directorships and corporate diversification

This paper investigates the impact of multiple directorships on corporate diversification. We hypothesize that multiple directorships affect the quality of managerial oversight and, thus, influence the degree of corporate diversification and firm value. The empirical evidence lends credence to this notion. Specifically, we find that directors’ busyness is inversely related to firm value. In other words, firms where board members hold more outside board seats suffer a deeper diversification discount. Further analysis also reveals that the negative effect of having overcommitted directors on the board is more pronounced in firms where agency costs are more severe, suggesting that the diversification discount is driven by agency conflicts. Our results aptly fit into the on-going debate on the benefits and detriments of multiple directorships.

CEO compensation, shareholder rights, and corporate governance: An empirical investigation

We investigate whether CEO compensation is influenced by the strength of shareholder rights. Our evidence reveals that CEOs of firms where shareholder rights are weak obtain more favorable compensation. It is also found that higher CEO pay is associated with a higher degree of potential managerial entrenchment. Additionally, CEOs of firms with governance provisions that offer them protection from takeovers enjoy more generous pay. We also examine the change in CEO compensation relative to the change in shareholders' wealth. The evidence shows that when there is an increase in shareholders' wealth, the CEO is able to obtain higher incremental compensation when shareholder rights are weak. On the contrary, when shareholders' wealth falls, there is no corresponding decline in CEO compensation when shareholder rights are weak. Given the empirical evidence, we argue that CEO compensation practices reflect rent expropriation rather than optimal contracting.     

ROLE OF FISCAL AND MONETARY POLICY

Abstract.  This paper applies the GS-PD framework of Ho (1988) to show that the so-called 'battle of ideas' between 'Keynesians', who believe in intervention, and the champions of the market, who believe in non-intervention, as popularly depicted, diverts attention from the crux of the matter. It shows how monetary and fiscal policies have to be coordinated in specific situations and why some macroeconomic problems may require responses beyond the purview of monetary and fiscal policies.
