The coordination required to successfully implement supply chain initiatives suggest that supply chain management change processes may possess some unique characteristics. Yet, empirical studies are scarce to support this logic. Using an empirical design and data obtained from managers, and drawing largely from Lewin's change process conceptualization, this study compares the process of supply chain management change to non‐supply chain management change. This paper examines how the decline of communication costs between management and production facilities within firms and the decrease in trade costs of manufactured goods affect the spatial organization of a two-region economy with multi-unit·multi-plant firms. The development of information technology decreases the costs of communication and trade costs. Thus, the fragmentation of firms is promoted. Our result indicates that, with decreasing communication costs, firms producing low trade-cost goods (such as electronics products) tend to concentrate their manufacturing plants in low wage countries. This article extends the existing research on logistics customer service‐loyalty relationships to the online logistics supply chain environment by examining potential website determinants of logistics customer service quality. A structural equation analysis of 373 online shopping transactions suggests that perceived quality of all logistics customer service activities (perceived cycle time, in‐stock availability, and customer responsiveness) varies inversely with: (1) perceived ease of use, and (2) content vividness of the website; and positively with product information content. However, only retailer customer responsiveness assessment was found to have any significant influence on consumer intended loyalty behavior in Internet‐enabled supplies chains. 相似文献

To achieve a competitive edge in the rapidly changing business environment, companies must align with suppliers and customers to streamline operations, as well as working together to achieve a level of agility beyond individual companies. Consequently, agile supply chains are the dominant competitive vehicles. Embracing agile supply chain requires asking some important questions, namely: what exactly is agility and how can it be measured? Moreover, how can agility be effectively achieved and enhanced? Due to the ambiguity of agility assessment, most measures are described subjectively using linguistic terms. Thus, this study develops a fuzzy agility index (FAI) based on agility providers using fuzzy logic. The FAI comprises attribute’ ratings and corresponding weights, and is aggregated by a fuzzy weighted average. To illustrate the efficacy of the method, this study also evaluates the supply chain agility of a Taiwanese company. Continued deflationary trends in many markets around the world are creating greater pressure for cost reduction in order that margins can be maintained. Customers and consumers are increasingly value driven and consequently less brand or supplier loyal. In this challenging world, there is a growing recognition that creative pricing strategies combined with effective supply chain management provide opportunities for significant cost reduction and increased profits. We consider a problem motivated by a central purchasing organization for a major office products distributor. This purchasing
organization must source a quantity of a particular resale item from a set of capacitated suppliers. In our case each supplier
offers an incremental quantity discount purchase price structure. The purchaser’s objective is to obtain a quantity of a required
item at minimum cost. The resulting problem is one of allocating order quantities among an approved supply base and involves
minimizing the sum of separable piecewise linear concave cost functions. We develop a branch and bound algorithm that arrives
at an optimal solution by generating linear knapsack subproblems with feasible solutions to the original problem.

供应链企业在合作中相互产生嵌入行为对高效整合链上资源以提高协同创新绩效至关重要,然而,两者之间的关系至今尚未形成一致性研究结论。本文利用Meta分析方法,以60篇相关文献、118个效应值、17911个独立样本作为研究对象,探究了网络嵌入性及各维度与协同创新绩效的整体效应,并运用亚组分析明晰了调节变量在两者关系中的调节作用。研究表明:网络嵌入性及其子维与协同创新绩效具有显著的正相关关系。另外,行业类型、区位因素、绩效类型及实证研究方法的不同均会导致研究结果不一致。本研究结论在一定程度上为网络嵌入性与协同创新绩效的关系研究提供了理论依据,同时也为供应链企业通过网络嵌入性提高创新能力提供了可资借鉴的参考思路。 相似文献
