THE IMPLICATIONS OF TRADER COGNITIVE ABILITIES ON STOCK MARKET PROPERTIES

Market structure and individual rationality remain at the centre of a debate as to which is the main driving force in market performance. We examine the role of individual rationality, comparing zero‐intelligence traders with traders with different levels of intelligence using a special adaptive form of strongly typed genetic programming‐based learning algorithm. We use this approach with real data: historical quotes of the S&P 500 and Coca‐Cola stock prices. We find a mixture of positive and negative impacts from intelligence on market performance. Because the concept of market structure as a driving force has been significantly challenged in the literature, we suggest that the inclusion of both intelligence and market structures is important when examining the driving forces of market performance. This inclusion is consistent with the research of Todd and Gigerenzer (Journal of Economic Psychology, 24 (2003) 143–165), which asserts that both environment (market structure) and agents’ cognition play important roles. 改进导向下人工智能产业政策比较研究

政府主导推动人工智能产业发展已经成为全球趋势。基于比较公共政策理论,把政策改进作为人工智能产业政策比较研究的目的导向,有助于为政策制定部门进一步完善现行政策文本具体内容提供有益参考。根据政策比较研究一般范式和逻辑,将政策改进导向下的比较分析框架细分为五大模块,对每个模块分别提出基本要求,即政策比较文本先进性、政策比较主体标杆性、政策比较方法科学性、政策比较结果分析因果性、政策比较对策建议适宜性。将人工智能产业政策比较研究现有成果按照基本要求进行系统梳理,研判对每个模块基本要求的满足情况。研究发现,现有成果均不能充分满足各个模块相应的基本要求。鉴于此,针对每个模块提出了下一步改进的主要研究方向。

煤矿地震数据动态解释软件设计与开发

为了提高煤田地震勘探的精度,提出了煤矿地震数据动态解释的思路,并通过Qt编程开发了地震资料动态解释软件系统.该系统包括矿井多元数据综合管理、三维地震资料解释、解释成果编辑、三维可视化分析与地震地质成果输出等功能.工程应用表明该软件能够把煤矿三维地震勘探获得的静态勘探成果与矿井生产过程中所获得的各类地质信息相互融合,实现地震资料动态解释,实时更新地震资料解释成果,为煤矿安全高效开采提供了地质保障.     

基于需求方的农业保险实证调研分析

以农业大省—湖南省为例,通过Logistic模型定量回归,对农业保险需求方农户利益的实现进行实证分析,研究发现：统保模式跨越了农户,违背了参与农业保险自主自愿的原则,这使得农户的利益难以实现。为此,提出了采用双到户模式和引入智能系统以实现农业保险需求方利益的路径。     

Senior expatriate leadership's effects on innovation and the role of cultural intelligence

We propose that senior expatriates’ visionary–transformational leadership influences the rate of innovation adoption in the organizations or units they head, but cultural intelligence moderates this relationship. Our hypotheses were tested with data from 153 senior expatriate managers and 695 subordinates from companies in all 27 countries of the European Union. We found a direct influence of senior expatriates’ visionary–transformational leadership on the rate of innovation adoption. Cultural intelligence moderates the effect of senior expatriates’ leadership on organizational innovation, but not on product-market innovation. Implications for academic research and business practice are discussed.     

Employee satisfaction with schedule flexibility: Psychological antecedents and consequences within the workplace

Although balancing work-related and non-work-related time demands is an ongoing concern for many hotel workers, there is a dearth of research examining workers’ satisfaction with their work schedule flexibility. Using a sample drawn from nine different hotel properties in South Korea, this study finds that workers’ levels of emotional intelligence and overall job satisfaction serve as antecedents of their schedule flexibility satisfaction. Moreover, the study also finds that decreased turnover intent is a consequence of schedule flexibility satisfaction. Based upon these findings, both managerial and research implications are presented.
