国际旅游岛战略下的海南高等教育发展对策

海南高等教育发展滞后有着其历史、经济和自身的一些原因。要想一蹴而就短时期内飞速发展难度较大,只有抓住国际旅游岛建设的契机,结合海南的地缘特点,走特色之路,走内涵式发展之路,才能突破瓶颈。     

利用世博契机,把崇明打造成为“未来岛”——基于城市品牌定位的思考

伴随沪崇苏大桥的开工及中央提出科学发展观,具有国际生态岛地位的崇明如何发展正吸引着大家的关注,地方政府在集思广益基础上将崇明定位为国际现代化生态岛。文章认为这只是完成了基础定位,建议崇明以城市品牌定位理论为指导确立＂未来岛＂的品牌定位,并以婚庆业举例说明此定位发展的巨大前景。进而结合当前迎世博背景,针对利用世博契机,促进崇明建设未来岛,提出若干建议。

For a number of reasons, the local people have not taken on the role of “professional natives.”

为保障海上石油设施生产作业、人员生命和财产安全，我国在滩海陆岸及油气开发人工岛石油作业中实行第三方发证检验制度。设计审查是发证检验的关键环节，介绍了设计审查过程中质量控制的主要内容。     

国际旅游岛建设呼唤文化创新

为加快推进文化改革发展,助力国际旅游岛建设,海南省文化改革发展工作会议对海南新一轮文化改革发展作出战略部署,其中的一个重要议题就是积极进行文化创新。为此,文章从四个方面提出了如何积极地进行文化创新,才能充分体现时代要求,更好地实施海南新一轮文化改革发展的战略部署。     

国际旅游岛的价值分析

自从国务院发布了《国务院关于推进海南国际旅游岛建设发展的若干意见》后,海南省有了新的发展机遇。本文对海南国际旅游岛的战略价值和生态资源价值进行认识,并为海南国际旅游岛创造共同价值和长远价值做分析研究,在达成国际旅游岛比发展有污染的低端工业更有价值的共识基础上,对旅游中生态价值进行价值分析,在开发这种旅游资源的基础上,采取人为行政和立法的方式来保护这种核心价值,利于海南省创造更多的价值。     

Residents’ support for tourism: An Identity Perspective

Studies on residents’ support for tourism have primarily been conducted in the developed world. This study analyzes community support in the island economy of Mauritius by testing a model based on the social exchange theory and the identity theory. The model proposes that the resource-based occupational identity, environmental identity, and gender identity of the residents influence attitudes to tourism impacts and support (behavior). Results indicate that one’s identity has a direct bearing on support, but may not always influence attitudes. Findings confirm the relevance of the social exchange theory and the identity theory in explaining community support for tourism in island economies. The study’s practical implications and limitations are discussed.     

Tourism and Governance in Small Island Developing States (SIDS): The Case of Zanzibar

Tourism in small island developing states (SIDS) has long been defined in terms of dependency. However, less attention has been paid to the role of the state in SIDS, particularly the extent to which it supports tourism as an agent of development. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to consider the governance of tourism development in SIDS, specifically the extent to which the state may promote or hinder tourism‐related development. Drawing on research in Zanzibar, it reveals the ways in which poor governance has acted as a barrier to development through tourism, concluding that the state has an unwillingness to support tourism.
