改革开放30年来,浙江民营企业不断发展壮大,逐渐成为浙江"走出去"开拓市场、寻求国际商机的重要力量。但是当前浙江民企的跨国经营活动仍处于初级阶段,相比国际大型跨国组织,其跨国经营能力仍显不足。本文从知识学习的角度着手,指出知识对跨国经营能力提升的重要性,分析了在跨国经营活动中获得国际化知识的内外部途径。论述了企业如何通过内外部的知识学习,获得知识,并构建了企业通过知识学习与集成提升企业跨国经营能力理论模型。 相似文献

A very important, yet unsettled, question is whether mandatory voting affects political participation. This paper exploits a natural experiment to assess the causal impact of compulsory voting on turnout and, more importantly, to test whether the impact is different across skill groups. I find that compulsory voting increases voter turnout by 18 percentage points (28%) and the increase is twice as much in the unskilled citizens than that in the skilled citizens. This study is the first to show, with rigorous empirical evidence, that compulsory voting laws are effective in reducing the skill/socioeconomic gap in political participation. Furthermore, by shaping the electorate, these laws have relevant consequences in terms of the economic policies applied. 相似文献

Abstract We review the ‘skill‐biased technological change (SBTC) versus North–South trade (NST)’ debate in order to explain widening wage inequality between skilled and unskilled workers. The traditional explanations based on exogenous SBTC and on the North–South Heckscher–Ohlin–Samuelson approach, as well as the early estimates that diagnosed a clear prevalence of the former, are firstly exposed and discussed. A presentation is then made of the recent theoretical literature that endogenizes SBTC, introduces new channels of impacts from NST, and combines both explanations. Finally, the current estimates show that (i) both explanations are relevant, (ii) their impacts differ according to industries and countries, (iii) outsourcing is the main vector of impact from NST and (iv) SBTC and NST interact. 相似文献

This paper tests whether the transfer of production stages within US-headquartered multinational enterprises (MNEs) from US parents to foreign affiliates has contributed to within-industry shifts in US relative labor demand toward the more-skilled. There are two main empirical results. First, there is evidence of MNE transfer during the past 20 years. Second, regression analysis does not support the MNE hypothesis. MNE transfer tends to have small, imprecisely estimated effects on US relative labor demand. This finding is inconsistent with models of MNEs in which affiliate activities substitute for parent unskilled-labor-intensive activities. 相似文献

This paper provides an empirical analysis of the structure of earnings in West Germany across skill groups and industries.
Our analysis is based on data from the German Socioeconomic Panel for the period 1984 to 1994. We estimate quantile regressions,
both for the entire sample period and for each year separately, in order to obtain a finer picture of the earnings structure
compared to conventional least squares methods. For robust standard error estimation, this study uses a block bootstrap procedure
taking account of heteroskedasticity and autocorrelation in the error term. We also suggest a simple procedure to obtain a
consistent estimate of inter-industry earnings variability. Our main findings are: first, pooled estimation comprising a uniform
time trend is not rejected by the data, and second, the effects of human capital variables and industry dummies on earnings
differ considerably across quantiles.
