Tradeoffs between sensory attributes and organic labels: the case of orange juice

Researchers have investigated the role of sensory attributes and organic labels on consumers’ preferences and perceptions of food, but few has examined whether sensory attributes are relevant for consumers who prefer organic food and the extent to which sensory attributes influence consumer's marginal willingness to pay for organic food. The objective of this study is to determine how sensory attributes and organic label work together to influence consumer's stated preference and marginal willingness to pay for orange juice. To achieve this, we conducted a blind sensory evaluation of two orange juices followed by a discrete choice experiment to determine the extent to which consumer's stated preference for orange juice labelled as organic is affected by sensory experience preceding the choice experiment. Random parameter logit models and latent class conditional logit models are used to explain stated preference. Results indicate that the effect of sensory attributes on consumer's marginal willingness to pay differed by organic juice and conventional juice.     

Study on formation mechanisms of Gannan navel orange characteristic industrial clusters on organizational ecology

The customers＇ expense is the final decision strength by chance which it develops, expands.

The Impacts of Retail Promotions on the Demand for Orange Juice: A Study of a Retail Chain

This study examined the impacts of retail promotions on the demand for five brands of orange juices for a retail chain (referred to as Retailer X) and its competitors using the Rotterdam model. Results show that the combination of feature ads and displays had the largest impacts on retail revenue among the four promotional tactics considered, whereas temporary price reductions had no advertising impacts on retail revenue. Results also show that when Retailer X promotes an orange juice (OJ) brand using any of the tactics, a larger portion of the increased demand for the promoted brand comes from reduced demand for other brands of OJ in the same store or chain.A smaller portion comes from the decreased demand in Retailer X's competing stores in the same trading area.

纳米碳包铁的吸附性能研究

纳米碳包铁粒子是在金属外面包了一层碳的粒子，可直接用于药物包埋。本实验用碳包铁对甲基橙水溶液进行吸附，模拟包药实验。在吸附平衡及动力学方面进行了实验，并研究了甲基橙溶液的初始浓度、酸度对其吸附率的影响。结果表明，碳包铁的吸附受反应条件影响较大，溶液pH在3～6之间，有较高的吸附率。     

从江椪柑产业发展面临的问题及对策

从江县自八十年代中期发展椪柑种植以来,"椪柑产业"已成从江一支新兴的支柱产业.但近两年从江椪柑产业的发展遇到了一系列的问题:水果质量有所下降,投入增大,价格下跌,果园增产不增收;椪柑产品受假冒产品冲击,市场范围缩小;农民从事椪柑生产积极性下降,大量劳动力结伴外出打工致使果园荒废.本文在认真分析从江椪柑产业遇到的问题的基础上,提出应加大政策支持力度;充分利用经济与法制手段打击假冒产品;提高椪柑产品的科技含量,生产无污染产品;改善运输条件;加强市场营销,改革经营模式,力争重振从江椪柑产业昔日风采.     

农产品价值链与流通效率浅析——秭归脐橙流通市场实证研究

对农产品价值链与流通效率的关系进行理论分析,并采用流通效率衡量指标体系,对“中国脐橙之乡”湖北省秭归县脐橙流通效率进行了实证研究。研究表明,价值链中交易主体越多,则流通效率越低,所以,应尽量减少交易主体以提高流通效率,优化价值链。
