An Application Study on the Super-large Project Management

Three Gorges project is a huge trans century hydropower project under the special background when China is undergoing the transition from planned economy to market oriented economy and reentering WTO,which decides the Three Gorges project management (TGPM in brief) unique in many aspect.An empirical and systematic study is carried out in this paper on the unique characteristices such as TGPM objective,TGP management contents & task,TGPM system & mechanism,TGPM model,TGPM spirit of team working,TGPM approach & means,TGP technical management decision system,TGP material & equipment management system,TGP financing system.
