武汉城市圈城市竞争力测度与评价

随着城市乃至城市圈逐步成为区域竞争的主体,城市竞争力的研究对于城市综合实力的提升和潜力的挖掘具有重要意义;在构建城市竞争力测度的5个方面18个指标的基础上,利用主成分分析法提取了城市经济发展规模与实力、经济发展结构与潜力两个主成分,结合聚类分析,将武汉城市圈9个城市分为强势、较强、较弱、弱势4种类型,并作出相应评价;结果表明,武汉城市圈呈现总体城市竞争力偏弱、武汉市"一城独大"的局面。

The quantitative analysis and evaluation Of urban competitiveness in Wuhan City Circle

As cities and agglomerations play an extremely important role in regional competition, research on urban competitiveness is of grest significance to the development of the whole region. This paper takes 9 cities in Wuhan City Circle for samples and establishes five layers and eighteen indicators for urban competitiveness evaluation. With the aid of mathematical method including principal component analysis and hierarchical cluster analysis, two components are distilled. Then it calculates the scores of urban competitiveness of 9 cities, classifies them into 4 types and evaluates them respectively. The results show that the urban competitiveness of the whole Wuhan City Circle appears to be weak except Wuhan.
