On the Application of EPC mode in the Oil-gas Pipeline Engineering

Introduces the definition, pros and cons as well as the differences between the traditional mode and EPC mode of project management. Analyzes the niche, the major responsibilities and the work of each participant under the EPC mode. Based on the introduction of EPG mode, it is pointed out that appropriate project management system should be set up to conform to its application and popularization in oil-gas pipeline engineering. It involves enhancing contract management, raising the quality of business management personnel, establishing and improving the procedure documents and operation documents, so as to seek for the EPC mode that suits the development of oil-gas pipeline industry.
