| Abstract: | Inspiration from foreign urban sprawl studies has great value to China.Document-data method and qualitative method are used to summarize the concept and characteristics of urban sprawl.Experience of urban sprawl studies in foreign countries are summarized and assessed from several aspects: impact factors of urban sprawl,impact of urban sprawl on the environment,policies and instruments of urban sprawl control and study methods of urban sprawl. |
