The Impact of Social Segregation on the Labor Market Outcomes of Low-Skilled Workers*

We study the impact of network homophily on labor market outcomes in a search-and-matching model with two job search channels: the formal market and social contacts. There are two worker types: low-skilled and high-skilled workers. The homophily level determines whether the referral networks of the two types are mixed or segregated from each other. We show that there exists an intermediate homophily level that minimizes the unemployment rate and maximizes the wages of low-skilled workers. Complete integration does not maximize the welfare of low-skilled workers, unless it improves their productivity. We argue that our model can explain the empirical findings on the labor market effects of the Moving-to-Opportunity experiment and the integration of immigrants.     

经营业绩、终极控制人性质与企业社会责任履行度——基于我国上市公司1999-2006年面板数据的检验

本文利用我国上市公司1999—2006的面板数据研究了经营业绩、终极控制人性质对企业社会责任履行度的影响。研究结果发现我国每股收益高的上市公司并没有比低的上市公司履行更多的社会责任；企业的社会责任履行度随着企业资产经营规模的增长而提高，但随着主营业务规模的增长而下降。终极控制人性质对经营业绩影响社会责任履行度的作用有显著影响。     

论企业适合、适时、适度多元化

多元化经营是企业扩大经营规模、规避经营风险，追求协同效应的重要战略选择。但近几年来，我国许多朝阳企业却因盲目涉及多元化而改走麦城，一蹶不振，本文经过充分论证，提出企业采取多元低级战略应注意适合、适时、适度的问题。     

John Stuart Mill on wage inequalities between men and women

Abstract

Mill proposes an analysis of women’s low wages in a paragraph of Principles of Political Economy. The paper’s purpose is to confront this analysis with his conception of justice, rooted in his utilitarianism. Mill’s attachment to justice arises in a particular context, as the result of various intellectual influences. On the one hand, it underlies his concern for the situation of women on the labour market and his insistence on the role played by custom and laws in wage differences between men and women. On the other hand, the shortcomings of Mill’s analysis appear consistent with his vision of equal justice and freedom for women.     

后发地区金融发展与城镇化耦合协调发展研究——以河南省为例

在分析金融与城镇化耦合发展机理的基础上,通过构建综合评价指标体系,运用基于超效率DEA的耦合度模型对后发地区河南省1994-2011年金融与城镇化耦合发展演化趋势进行研究。结果表明:从相对效率的角度来看,金融对城镇化的促进作用优于城镇化对金融发展的拉动作用;虽然河南省的金融和城镇化发展水平都有了较大的跃升,但由于城镇化发展水平的相对滞后,导致了城镇化与金融发展之间的耦合度呈现波动式下滑趋势。最后,提出了相应的建议与对策。

The Study of Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation Model for Information System of Enterprise

For an enterprise, the applying of information system will improve the efficiency of manufacture and management, and bring the qualitative changes in management. So it is very important whether the information system is good or not. In this paper, based on the index system of the information system of enterprise, an evaluation model is constructed combining the Analytic Hierarchy Process （AHP） theory and the fuzzy-mathematical model.

Analysing Mechanism of an Economic Phase

In this paper, we define the thetical and antithetical phases of macroeconomy on a formal basis. And we formulate a bubble economy and its collapse by using these definitions. The concept of thetical and antithetical phases is introduced into economics by Kinoshita. In the course of discussion, we also make clear the difference between economic growth and bubble economy, while describing a mechanism of collapse of a bubble economy by using a simple macro-economic model instead of a specific model. As a result, we can analyse not only the state of thetical economy phase, and antithetical economy phase, but also bubble economy phase and bubble bursting economy phase. And we can describe mechanism of transitions among four economic phases.     

民营上市公司内部治理机制有效性的灰色关联分析

伴随中国民营上市公司的迅速成长而来的是其内部治理机制不完善所产生的治理问题。所以，民营上市公司的内部治理机制的有效性问题受到了理论界的广泛关注。文章利用灰色关联分析法，通过对沪深两市的40家民营上市公司的实证分析，试图找出影响上市公司绩效的公司内部治理机制。
