在长期协议市场和现货市场并存的条件下,当市场存在不确定性和信息不对称时,可以减小随机交易波动,这不仅有利于保持长期协议供给方的领先优势,还能有效降低市场的均衡价格。在我国进口铁矿石定价体系中,国外厂商铁矿石价格指数和中国铁矿石价格指数存在差异和共同点,因此,只有建立运行高效的铁矿石市场交易机制,我国才能获得国际铁矿石定价权。

Women’s empowerment and nutrition status: The case of iron deficiency in India

In this paper we study the relationship between women’s empowerment in agriculture and their iron deficiency status in Maharashtra, India. This is the first time the Women’s Empowerment in Agriculture Index (WEAI) has been used in association with explicit measurement of medical biomarkers for women’s iron deficiency status. Using primary data for 960 women we find that the log odds of a poor iron status in women decline as women’s empowerment levels in agriculture improve. Further, this decline is seen in the presence of multiple dietary diversity measures (dietary diversity score, share of rice and wheat in the diet, total iron intake and iron intake from iron-rich food groups – all for 24-h and 30-day recalls) suggesting that in addition to dietary pathways women’s empowerment can play a role in addressing micronutrient deficiencies like those of iron in a vulnerable sub-group of the population. It also reinforces the need to move away from the ‘staple grain fundamentalism’ that has characterized agricultural policy in India, towards more nutrition-sensitive food systems.     

Modelling the iron ore price index: A new perspective from a hybrid data reconstructed EEMD-GORU model

As iron ore is the fundamental steel production resource, predicting its price is strategically important for risk management at related enterprises and projects. Based on a signal decomposition technology and an artificial neural network, this paper proposes a hybrid EEMD-GORU model and a novel data reconstruction method to explore the price risk and fluctuation correlations between China’s iron ore futures and spot markets, and to forecast the price index series of China’s and international iron ore spot markets from the futures market. The analysis found that the iron ore futures market in China better reflected the price fluctuations and risk factors in the imported and international iron ore spot markets. However, the forward price in China’s iron ore futures market was unable to adequately reflect the changes in the domestic iron ore market, and was therefore unable to fully disseminate domestic iron ore market information. The proposed model was found to provide better market risk perceptions and predictions through its combinations of the different volatility information in futures and spot markets. The results are valuable references for the early-warning and management of the related enterprise project risks.

在历年的铁矿石谈判中,中国企业几乎失去了最大需求方应有的＂话语权＂。垄断价格形成模型和＂囚徒困境＂是我国企业丧失＂话语权＂的原因,并据此提出加强与日本、韩国的合作,结成价格谈判联盟;利用市场份额,分化卖方的寡头联盟;积极参与新的铁矿石定价体系发展铁矿石期货市场;开发国内外铁矿石资源,提高铁矿石资源掌控力;逐渐提高我国国内钢铁企业的集中度以及规范铁矿石进口企业等增强我国铁矿石企业谈判中＂话语权＂的对策。     

Cost-effectiveness analysis of ferric carboxymaltose in iron-deficient patients with chronic heart failure in Sweden

Iron deficiency is a common but treatable comorbidity in chronic heart failure (CHF) that is associated with impaired health-related quality-of-life (HRQoL). This study evaluates the cost-effectiveness of the intravenous iron preparation ferric carboxymaltose (FCM) for the treatment of iron deficiency in CHF from a Swedish healthcare perspective.

为了拓宽灼烧减量检测对象的范围,本方法根据不同种类的铁矿石,分析了水分、氧化亚铁等因素对测定结果的影响,通过加以校正,得到更准确的测定结果。     

Baltic Dry Index and iron ore spot market: dynamics and interactions

Baltic Dry Index (BDI) is often included in the iron ore spot price. Iron ore market experienced a transition in pricing mechanism from the annual negotiated price to the one based on spot market price in 2008/2009. This paper investigates the dynamics of and the interactions between BDI and iron ore spot price in the regime of the new pricing mechanism. In addition to controlled variables, we find significant spillover interactions between BDI and the iron ore market. We also detect mean-reversion movement in the iron ore market, signalling certain inefficiency in the market pricing.     

我国海外投资铁矿石资源研究

本文通过分析世界铁矿石的供需情况、世界贸易情况以及我国进口铁矿石的情况,指出我国应该转变当前通过贸易方式利用海外铁矿资源而转为以对外直接投资为主,然后针对我国海外投资铁矿资源所遇到的问题提出了相应的对策。
