Services Policy Reform and Economic Growth in Transition Economies   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
Major changes have occurred in the structure of former centrally planned economies, including a sharp rise in the share of services in GDP, employment, and international transactions. However, large differences exist across transition economies with respect to services intensity and services policy reforms. We find that reforms in policies toward financial and infrastructure services, including telecommunications, power, and transport, are highly correlated with inward FDI. Controlling for regressors commonly used in the growth literature, we find that measures of services policy reform are statistically significant explanatory variables for the post-1990 economic performance of transition economies. These findings suggest services policies should be considered more generally in empirical analyses of economic growth. JEL no. F14, F43, O14, O40  相似文献

The extant literature on alliances tends to neglect the effects of intraorganisational relationships within each alliance partner on the implementation of the alliance. To address this gap, this paper investigates both interorganisational and intraorganisational conflicts occurring during the implementation of a service alliance and aims at developing categories of conflicts as well as analysing how these conflict categories affect the implementation of the alliance. Thus, the overall purpose is to contribute to our understanding of implementation issues in alliances for the delivery of services. In order to do so, one case of a high-technology alliance has been studied longitudinally, with the researcher acting as a participant observer. Three interrelated categories of conflicts are developed through an analysis of the data: 1) the scope of the alliance, 2) the customer relationship, and 3) the implementation process. One important conclusion of this study is that the perspectives of several of the stakeholders, including the customers indirectly involved in the alliance, should be included when implementing service alliances.  相似文献

"金穗惠农通"工程是农业银行吉林省分行推进助农取款服务的重要措施,为农村地区的持卡客户提供了足不出村、方便快捷等基础性金融服务,满足农村客户日益增长的金融需求。但由于助农取款业务还处于起步阶段,受内外部市场经营环境、利益分配机制和认识不足等多方面的影响,还存在着制约其规范有效发展的诸多不利因素。因此应在强化操作风险管理、建立服务成本共担机制和明确法律关系等方面推动"金穗农通"工程的普及和发展。  相似文献

满足广大弱势群体的公共文化需求是时下加强和创新社会管理的核心要义之一。文章在对东、中、西部三个城市的残疾人公共文化消费进行调查分析的基础之上,揭示了当前弱势群体在文化权利上面临的困境。研究表明,既有的公共文化服务体系还没有惠及广大弱势群体,当前弱势群体的公共文化消费水平十分低下。其中,个体地位结构因素、区域经济发展水平、社会政策倾斜性配置水平以及无障碍环境是制约残疾人这类弱势群体公共文化消费水平的显著因素。文章认为,要确保弱势群体的文化权利,政府必须加大公共文化服务资源向弱势群体倾斜性配置,构建专业化、社会化的服务供给模式,坚持服务为本的逻辑,构建弱势群体的参与机制,并试点向弱势群体发放文化消费补贴。  相似文献

中国生产性服务业和制造业的产业关联分析   总被引:5,自引:0,他引:5  
本文以1997、2002和2007年中国投入产出表数据为基础,运用投入产出分析法,对我国生产性服务业和制造业进行产业关联分析。研究结果表明:第三产业已成为生产性服务业的主要服务对象;制造业对生产性服务业的中间需求结构以及生产性服务业对制造业的中间投入结构均呈现不断升级趋势;制造业对生产性服务业的拉动作用大于生产性服务业对制造业的促进作用。我国生产性服务业与制造业呈现出显著的互动关系,但关联效应仍处于较低水平。这一研究对于我国相关产业政策的制定具有重要的理论和现实意义。
Abstract:
In this paper,the relevancy of producer services and manufacturing is analyzed based on the input-output table of China collected from 1997 to 2007.The following conclu-sions are drawn.Firstly,the tertiary industries have become the main consumer for producer services.Secondly,there is an uptrend of the intermediate demand structure of manufactur-ing to producer services as well as the intermediate input structure of producer services to manufacturing.Thirdly,the influence that manufacturing pull the producer services is more efficient than the function that producer services promote the manufacturing.Finally,the interaction between producer services and manufacturing is significant in China,but the relevancy level of the two industries is still low.The study has important theoretical and practical significance for the formulations of the related industrial policy.  相似文献

We examine the effect of a regulator-led advocate for minority shareholders on merger and acquisition (M&A) performance in China. In recent years, the China Securities Regulatory Commission established the China Securities Investor Services Center (CSISC), which began its ownership of 100 shares of public firms in 2016. The CSISC advocates for the interests of minority shareholders proactively. Focusing on abnormal stock returns in M&A announcements, we find that acquirers that have the CSISC as a shareholder (CSISC acquirers) exhibit higher positive abnormal stock returns than non-CSISC acquirers. Cross-sectional analysis suggests that the core results are mainly driven by firms with severe agency problems and weak external/internal monitoring, and those not controlled by the state. In addition, we find that CSISC acquirers have better long-term performance and encounter more M&A failures than non-CSISC acquirers. Our findings indicate that although the CSISC only holds 100 shares of listed companies, it plays an effective role in monitoring and driving firms to make appropriate M&A decisions.  相似文献

产业不断转型升级是实现经济高质量发展的关键,从数量和质量两个维度可以总结出其具体路径。选取1985-2017年中国年度数据和1960-2017年美国年度数据,运用向量自回归模型对广义和狭义产业结构以及经济增长间的动态关系进行分析。结果表明,中美之间产业转型升级对经济发展的影响存在差异,据此可以得出高质量发展下中国产业转型升级方向,即拓展并细化产业转型升级维度;注重不同产业间的配比,尤其是生产性服务业和制造业配比;重视并确立制造业的根本地位;提升我国经济外向型程度。  相似文献

AI-chatbots as frontline agents promise innovative opportunities for shaping service offerings that benefit customers and retailers. Examining current practice through the lens of agency, as defined by Social Cognitive Theory, we present a 3-level classification of AI-chatbot design (anthropomorphic role, appearance and interactivity) and examine how the combination of these three aspects of chatbot design impacts on the complementarities of agency. Recognizing current implementation challenges, we advance that the complementarities of agency at each level are the lynchpin mechanism that translates AI-chatbot design into service relevant outcomes. We develop a research agenda focused on the emotion interface, resolution of the proxy agency dilemma and development of collective agency to support the implementation of AI-chatbots as frontline service agents.  相似文献
