外资企业税收负担与FDI规模——基于省级面板数据的分析

本文将外资企业的增值税和企业所得税税负作为主要的解释变量，利用省级面板数据来实证检验其对地区FDI规模的影响，并通过测算相关系数来分析FDI对增值税和企业所得税税负的敏感程度，分析表明：不论是增值税税负还是企业所得税税负，都对地区的FDI规模有较强的负面影响，相比于增值税税负，FDI对企业所得税税负的敏感程度更高。     

利用FDI促进我国自主创新的思路探讨

改革开放以来的30年时间里，外资经济已成为我国经济的一个重要组成部分，它为推动我国的经济发展做出了十分重要的贡献。然而。“利用FDI”与“自主创新”之间究竞存在怎样的关系，一直是学术界争论的焦点。文章从我国利用FDI的现状入手，分析了利用FDI对我国自主创新的影响，得出事实上利用FDI与自主创新之间并不矛盾的结论，并剖析出当前制约我国利用FDI提高自主创新能力的因素，进而提出我国应当如何提高FDI利用率来促进自主创新的思路。     

我国知识产权保护对FDI技术吸收能力的影响

在知识经济时代,有效知识产权保护制度的建立促进了新知识的产生和经济的增长。一方面,知识产权制度通过影响一国引入FDI的流量,进而对技术吸收能力产生一定的影响;另一方面,知识产权制度通过影响一国引入FDI的质量,进而对一国技术吸收能力产生重要影响。     

International Involvement,Target Market Selection,and Consolidated Performance: A Firm-Level Analysis of Taiwan's FDI in China

This paper assesses the sensitivity of consolidated corporate performance to two aspects of foreign direct investment (FDI): international involvement and target market selection. Empirical evidence from China-bound FDI by Taiwan's listed companies between 2000 and 2010 is summarized as follows. First, under the internalization of FDI, performance tends to rise with intensity of FDI activity. Second, profitability appears higher as FDI targets the export market outside China. Third, synergetic performance is created mainly through improved efficiency in resource management rather than increased sales, which indicates effective cost control is crucial for successful FDI in emerging markets such as China.     

FDI对我国中部地区技术进步影响的实证研究

梳理了中部地区吸收利用FDI的现状和特征,计算出了中部的TFP(全要素生产率),并以此作为技术进步的衡量指标,构建VAR模型对FDI和TFP的相关性进行实证分析.结果表明,短期内FDI对中部地区的技术进步有一定的促进作用,但长期来看促进作用并不十分显著.中部地区在吸收利用FDI过程中要引导技术引进,加强自主创新；创造公平环境,扶持本土企业；鼓励中外合资,强化技术合作.     

Regional concentration of FDI in post-reform India: A district-level analysis

We analyze the concentration of foreign direct investment (FDI) in India at the district level, based on project-specific location choices since the reform program in the early 1990s. The decomposition property of the Theil index allows us to trace changes over time in the overall concentration of FDI to changes in concentration between and within subgroups of districts. We also differentiate between major types and sources of FDI. We find that FDI concentrated in a persistently decreasing number of districts. Concentration across those districts that received at least one FDI project within a given time interval also increased, but this increase leveled off in the more recent past. These trends hold for essentially all types and sources of FDI, while the average level of concentration varies considerably between these types and sources.     

Two-dimensional analysis of the impact of outward FDI on performance at home: Evidence from Japanese manufacturing firms

This paper empirically investigates two dimensions of changes in firm behavior and performance before and after foreign direct investment (FDI). The first dimension is the difference between vertical and horizontal FDI. The second dimension is the effect of outward FDI on firms’ production and non-production activities in the home country. In our careful empirical analysis we use the propensity score matching method to show that the impact of outward FDI differs by dimension, that is, by FDI type and firms’ production and non-production activities. In particular, while horizontal FDI increases demand for non-production workers, vertical FDI increases demand for skilled production workers.     

论FDI对我国国际收支的影响

本文通过对FDI影响我国国际收支的各个渠道进行实证分析,指出FDI对我国国际收支的积极影响和潜在威胁,为合理利用外资、促进我国国际收支平衡提出建议。     

Motives and Modes of FDI,Firm Characteristics and Performance

Abstract

In this exploratory study, die autfiors attempt to determine and interpret die interdependencies between die motives and modes of setting up subsidiaries by foreign investors in Poland, and the main characteristics and performance of these subsidiaries. Two modes of setting up a subsidiary are examined: green-field and acquisition. The audiors use data collected from seven foreign subsidiaries operating in Poland and apply within-case and cross-case analytical approach to identify and interpret relationships between die variables under consideration. The results of the study lead to a formulation of eight hypotheses requiring further testing and research.
