Periodic strategies in optimal execution with multiplicative price impact

We study the optimal execution problem with multiplicative price impact in algorithmic trading, when an agent holds an initial position of shares of a financial asset. The interselling decision times are modeled by the arrival times of a Poisson process. The criterion to be optimized consists in maximizing the expected net present value of the gains of the agent, and it is proved that an optimal strategy has a barrier form, depending only on the number of shares left and the level of the asset price.     

Is faster or slower trading better? An examination of order type execution speed and costs

We examine order type execution speed and costs for US equity traders. Marketable orders that execute slower exhibit lower execution costs. Those who remove liquidity faster and pay higher trading costs transact in smaller size, spread trading across more venues, take more liquidity, and are better informed. Nonmarketable limit orders that execute slower exhibit greater adverse selection; and larger, uninformed traders who concentrate their trading in fewer venues submit them. Our findings suggest that slowing down the trading process, when faster options exist, can benefit certain market participants who seek to cross the bid–ask spread.     

Effectiveness of Indecent Language in Advertising on Young Adult Consumer Attitudes and Purchase Intent

This study applies both the Dual Mediation Hypothesis and Schema Congruity Theory to examine the effectiveness of mild controversial advertising executions on young adult consumer cognitions, affect, and behavior. Findings from this study suggest that advertisements featuring mild indecent language result in more positive advertisement attitudes, brand attitudes, and purchase intentions than when decent language is used. Young adult consumers also report more positive advertisement and brand attitudes, and a greater likelihood of purchase when they perceive the advertisement to be congruent with their existing schema, regardless of whether the execution is mildly controversial or noncontroversial in nature. The findings of this study are important to advertisers in the development of effective creative execution techniques.

我国耕地保护政策研究：基于背景、效果与未来趋势

［目的］我国耕地保护政策对保护耕地、保障粮食安全具有重要意义。研究我国耕地保护政策出台的背景及前后关系、相同政策在不同区域内的执行效果差异，能够为更针对性地提出政策建议提供参考。［方法］主要运用了资料分析和定性描述的方法，首先按照耕地保护政策内涵划分为5个阶段，其次从时间、空间两个尺度，判断了耕地保护政策的数量、质量保护效果差异，最后提出了未来政策出台的方向和趋势。［结果］时间尺度上：1986年、1997年、2004年出台的政策对耕地数量保护的成效明显； 2014—2016年耕地质量保护效果略优于2009—2014年； 目前数量保护成效较好，但质量保护远未达到要求。空间尺度上：耕地数量保护效果西部地区最好，东北地区次之，中部地区优于东部地区； 耕地质量保护效果中部地区最佳，东北地区次之，东部地区优于西部地区。［结论］未来政策可向规范补充耕地全国统筹、完善耕地质量保护法律体系、调动农户保护耕地积极性等方向发展。

以某汽车制造厂为例,对零部件本地Milk-run规划与实施进行了研究,建立了直送系统规划模型,并对实施效果进行分析,证明了该模式能大大提高生产效率并降低生产成本。     

突变情境下企业执行力变化的理论解释与管理启示

创新日益成为企业得以持续发展的关键因子。在企业创新的不同类型中,结构性创新与破坏性创新常常是新兴企业或新兴产品对原有企业和产品的瞬间破坏。在这一条件下,原有企业所赖以生存的能力与资源恰恰成为企业发展的重要障碍,而建立在原有能力与资源基础上的企业执行力必然会发生变化。笔者从理论上对这一变化进行了解释并提出了执行力变化的基本路径和企业执行力的不同区域,从而为突变情境下企业执行力的保证与提升提供了借鉴。
