The Lessons in the Case of BenQ - Siemens Cross - Border Merger and Acquisition

This paper aims to point out four problems in BenQ-Siemens merger and acquisition in cultural synergy from intercultural perspective and raise the proposals at cultural integration level,through an analysis of cultural differences and conflicts underlying BenQ-Siemens broken cooperation.Cultural conflicts incurred by different national cultures,exert strong influence on the cooperation process.Therefore,the effective intercultural synergy which is conducted after cross-border merger and acquisition has become a cutting-throat task which has attracted attention of domestic companies.It is expected that this paper will give constructive suggestions for the promising domestic enterprises with ambition to go international.
