The returns to scale (RTS) nature of 37 Chinese airport airsides are investigated in this paper. Multiple optimal solutions in DEA (Data Envelopment Analysis) models may lead to error RTS estimation. To address this problem, we use the (Zhu and Shen, 1995) RTS method. The empirical study shows that all those airsides with two runways operate under decreasing RTS and those airsides with only one runway either operate in the area of increasing RTS or in the area of constant RTS. 相似文献

Efficiency estimation of interdependent divisions within a company or assessing the interrelated processes in a production system provides insights for improving the operational performance. Recent developments in network data envelopment analysis (NDEA) models enable decision making units (DMUs) to be informed of inefficient processes within the system. The NDEA model assesses the processes of the system in a specific moment and ignores the dynamic effects within the production processes. Thus, without considering the temporal dimension of production processes, biased efficiency measurement will be obtained that provides misleading information to DMUs. For evaluating the performance of a DMU with interrelated processes during specified multiple periods, this paper proposes a relational dynamic NDEA (DNDEA) model which measures the efficiencies of the system and its internal processes over the time, simultaneously. To illustrate the capability of the proposed model, this study for the first time measures the efficiency of eight Iranian airlines in several periods connected to each other by carry over flows. The actual data is gathered in three periods from 2010 to 2012 and the results are compared with the dynamic DEA and network DEA models in the same time span. 相似文献

The aim of this study is to evaluate the operating efficiency and productivity changes of the Greek airports, during the first years of the severe economic crisis in Greece (2010–2014), by using two methods: Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) and Malmquist Productivity index (MPI). Findings have shown that, despite the dramatic effects of the economic crisis on the socio-economic life of the country, overall airport efficiency and productivity improved, mainly due to exogenous factors such as international tourism growth. The MPI reveals that over the period of the study, airports have experienced an annual average increase in total factor productivity (TFP) of 0.9% (an increase of 3.6% over the examined period). On examining the components of this productivity change, it becomes evident that this is due to the combination of both positive (a slight progress) annual average technology change (0.5%) and technical efficiency change (0.4%). The results also indicate that 65.8% of airports have an increase in average TFP during the period 2010–2014, ranging between 0.4% and 20%. However, as Greek airports operate at poor levels of efficiency, there is still considerable space for improvements in most of the airports. 相似文献

A bootstrapped DEA procedure is used to estimate technical efficiency of 18 Italian airports during the period 2000-2004. Departing from previous studies, we separate the efficiency related to ability to manage airside activities (operational) from that related to the management of all business activities (financial). In general, Italian airports operate at poor levels of efficiency, with slightly better performance in terms of their financial activities. In the current study, selected intrinsic and environmental characteristics are considered as possible drivers of Italian airport performance. In particular, we found that: (i) the airport dimension does not allows for operational efficiency advantages, (ii) on the other hand, the airport dimension allows for financial efficiency advantages for the case of hubs and disadvantages for the case of the smallest airports (iii) the type(s) of concession agreement(s) might be considered as important source of technical efficiency differentials for those airports running marginal commercial activities; (iv) the introduction of a dual-till price cap regulation might create incentives which lead to the increase of financial efficiency at the detriment of the operational performance. 本文在2001年联合国教科文组织统计部门对1996-1997年世界科技状况分析报告中投入与产出指标进行分析的基础上,依据系统性原则、有效性原则和可操作性原则构建了我国政府科技资源配置效率评价指标体系,并采用数据包络分析(DEA)中的VRS模型对1998-2009年我国政府科技资源配置效率水平进行了评价。研究结果表明,除2000、2001和2002年的综合效率介于0.95-1.0之间外,其余年份的政府科技资源配置综合效率都为1,这说明我国政府科技资源配置效率一直都处于较高水平,但为了保持这种高配置效率水平,应当合理控制科技投入总量,继续调整和优化投入结构,提高科技经费使用效益。 相似文献

本文运用非参数DEA方法对2006~2008年18家国际大银行的效率变化情况进行了实证研究。在选取投入产出指标上,与传统方法不同,本文考虑风险投入,利用利润法选取指标。通过运用两种DEA模型,分别对效率进行静态与动态分析,探讨引起国内外银行效率变动的原因,并且对技术退步现象首次作出可能的解释。本文主要结论为,不论从国际银行业,还是中国银行业来看,全要素生产率的减少主要是由技术退步引起的。而技术变动的原因在于风险的变动。 相似文献

中国城市政府公共支出效率分析——基于四阶段DEA方法的实证研究 总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
本文以2008年中国内地126个地级以上城市为样本数据,利用四阶段DEA方法,对中国城市公共支出效率进行了实证分析。结果显示:如果不对外部环境因素加以控制,则经典的DEA方法将会高估城市公共支出效率;在控制外部环境因素影响后,样本城市公共支出效率得分为0.353,表明在保持支出不变下,通过改善组织管理、优化支出规模及结构,公共服务供给水平可提高约64%,城市公共支出效率还有很大的提升空间;经济发达、较大的辖区面积是城市公共支出效率提升的有利条件,而人口增加对公共品供给产生的拥挤效应不利于城市公共支出效率提升。 相似文献

本文将Metafrontier思想与BCC-DEA模型相结合,综合应用Metafrontier DEA方法、Malmquist全要素生产率指数和Tobit模型,客观地评价具有不同生产技术的两岸证券商的经营效率。结果表明:台湾证券商发展水平趋同,大陆证券商良莠不齐,但竞争力逐渐提升;台湾证券商技术水平落后于大陆;大陆全要素生产率逐渐改善,台湾逐渐衰退;资产总额、负债比、地区生产总值是影响技术效率的关键因素,负债比、经济自由度、地区生产总值是影响技术落差的关键因素;金融危机对两岸证券业冲击显著。 相似文献

基本公共服务均等化是社会主义和谐社会建设的基础,对其进行指标化评价研究具有重要价值。运用DEA理论建立了基本公共服务均等化投入与产出指标体系,并以江苏省2003年至2008年数据为例进行了实证分析。结果表明,并非随着时间推移,基本公共服务均等化的投入产出效率越高,需要具体分析各指标的影响因素,以进一步推进基本公共服务均等化。 相似文献
