How does top management team (TMT) conflict influence entrepreneurial strategy making of new ventures? With a sample of new ventures in China’s technology industries, this study examines the conditions under which TMT cognitive conflict and affective conflict are associated with entrepreneurial strategy making. We found that cognitive conflict among TMT members had a positive relationship with entrepreneurial strategy making. Further, the positive relationship between cognitive conflict and entrepreneurial strategy making was moderated by dysfunctional competition and team deftness. 相似文献

为解释高管团队异质性对技术创业企业绩效的作用机理,基于高阶理论,采用多案例扎根分析方法构建了高管团队异质性对技术创业企业绩效影响的概念模型;基于183家创业板上市公司数据,采用结构方程模型进行了实证检验。研究结果表明:高管团队年龄异质性和任期异质性对技术创业企业绩效有显著正向影响;职能经验异质性和教育水平异质性对技术创业企业绩效有显著负向影响;商业模式价值创造在高管团队年龄、任期、职能经验和教育水平异质性对技术创业企业绩效的影响中均起到部分中介作用。 相似文献

文章基于管理层权力理论和社会网络理论,以2010〖KG-*4〗-〖KG-*6〗2014年我国A股上市公司为样本,实证检验了管理层权力对高管薪酬的影响,并考察TMT网络的调节作用。研究发现:管理层权力显著提高了高管薪酬水平,但显著降低了高管薪酬业绩敏感度;而TMT网络显著增强了它们之间的相关关系。研究为管理层权力与高管薪酬之间关系的研究提供了增量证据,为完善我国高管薪酬激励制度、抑制管理层权力、规范高管之间的兼任行为提供了参考和借鉴。 相似文献

基于女性管理者主导决策并承担组织发展责任的视角,以团队氛围为中介变量,揭示互联网时代女性领导力特质对企业管理效率的影响效应。研究结果表明,女性领导力特质对团队氛围和员工绩效具有正向的支持作用,能够促进良好团队氛围的形成,并且最终通过团队氛围的中介作用影响员工绩效,这对企业提高组织管理效率、培育员工的组织忠诚度和激发员工的创新热情,以适应互联网时代组织架构日趋网格化和组织管理社群化的要求具有重要意义。 相似文献

This study investigates the impact of CIO’s presence in an organization’s top management team (TMT) on the contribution of information technology (IT) to corporate innovation. A new theoretical model is proposed based on the literature review. Through a survey of 120 CIOs of Chinese companies, we examine a series of hypotheses developed based on this model. Our findings reveal significant influences of CIO’s presence in the TMT on IT’s contribution to corporate innovations. The findings also suggest that such impacts are mediated by TMT’s IT knowledge. Furthermore, we find the significant moderating role of TMT’s risk appetite, i.e., when the executives are more willing to take risks, the relationship between CIO’s participation in TMT and the importance of IT to innovation is more significant. Theoretical contributions and practical implications of these findings are also discussed. 相似文献

Drawing on the attention-based view, this study investigates the linkage of top management team (TMT) conflict to entrepreneurial orientation (EO) and the moderating effect of organizational structure in terms of formalization and centralization on the linkage. It finds that TMT cognitive conflict is positively related to EO, while affective conflict is negatively related to it. Furthermore, formalization positively moderates the linkage of TMT cognitive conflict to EO, while negatively moderates the negative linkage of TMT affective conflict to EO. Moreover, centralization does not significantly moderate the linkage of either TMT cognitive or affective conflict to EO. This study enriches our knowledge of the antecedents of EO, improves our understanding of the value of TMT conflict by distinguishing between TMT cognitive conflict and affective conflict, and introduces a novel insight—the attention-based view—to elaborate the TMT conflict-EO linkage. 相似文献
