西部农村大开发与小城镇建设

西部农村大开发的关键在于发展特色经济,增加农民收入,降低农业成本,转移农村剩余劳动力.通过引农入镇,以商活镇,科学规划发展西部小城镇,既能引导农民发展特色经济又能发展二、三产业,转移剩余劳动力,增加农民收入,使西部农村大开发与小城镇建设相得益彰.     

大都市郊区小城镇的经济地域类型及其空间分异探析——以北京市为例

本文致力于探析京郊小城镇的经济地域类型及其发展的动力机制,综合运用了H.J.纳尔逊的城镇职能分类方法和区位商法,从三次产业的产值结构和从业结构出发,将京郊183个小城镇划分为四大类型。基于GIS的空间分析功能,进一步探讨了京郊四大类小城镇的空间分布规律和演变趋势,结果发现这四大类小城镇的核心—外围空间格局十分明显,有着各自不同的功能定位和演进机理。基于此,为不同类型的小城镇制定了不同的发展策略,以便为今后不同类型的小城镇开展分类规划指导提供科学依据。     

Transition Belsize Veg Bag scheme: The role of ICTs in enabling new voices and community alliances around local food production and consumption

This paper explores an unusual community-supported agriculture pilot project in London, concentrating on the contribution of ICTs in its development and impact. The paper contextualises the project within wider waves of local food activism and reflects on the relevance of using ICTs to increase awareness and community participation in the production and consumption of locally-grown food. The results are also analysed in light of the author's parallel research on the use of ICT for agricultural development, or “e-agriculture”, in Kenya. The paper contributes to ongoing debates on ICTs and agricultural development, by highlighting community-building and the emergence of new voices and conversations as key roles played by ICTs, contributing to the development of more participatory, resilient and locally-centred food systems. The results of the pilot however also acknowledge the essential role played by activities in real life in building communal food growing practices, which can be enhanced but not substituted by online communities.     

历史文化村镇的保护途径探讨——参与式社区规划途径的适用性

历史文化村镇保护的目的不仅在于保护其历史建成环境,保护其所代表的传统文化、民俗、社会关系等方面的原真性,更在于改善当地居民的居住环境,保持地区发展活力,以及促进传统文化的延续和发展。文中分析了现有历史文化村镇保护模式和途径存在的问题,提出应将传统城市规划和社区规划有效结合,建议历史文化村镇的保护应采用基于居民参与、社区自治和自助的参与式社区规划新途径,并详细阐述了参与式社区规划在历史文化村镇保护中的适用性、工作过程和路线以及特点。     

大都市郊区新城通勤行为空间研究——以南京市为例

通过对南京的东山、仙林和江北三个新城的深入考察和访问,并以问卷为基础,研究了新城居民在通勤行为空间上的主要表现,以及在居民通勤行为中新城和主城的空间互动机制。结果表明,一方面,新城的结构与功能影响其通勤流的空间分布,另一方面,主城和新城之间的互动关系在新城通勤空间的发展中起着尤为重要的作用。     

Agriculture and small towns in Africa

Africa is urbanizing rapidly. Yet most dual economy models focus on the sectoral rather than spatial dimensions of development. This article adopts a “dual–dual” approach to measuring rural/urban and farm/nonfarm linkages. We develop an economy‐wide model of Ethiopia that distinguishes between cities, towns, and rural areas. The model captures detailed sectoral and regional linkages, internal migration flows, and externalities from urban agglomeration. We find larger linkages between agricultural production and small towns and show that redirecting urban growth toward towns rather than cities leads to broader‐based economic growth and poverty reduction. In contrast, industry and services, particularly within cities, are far less effective in reaching rural areas and the poor. Africa's current urbanization pattern—toward major cities rather than towns—will weaken national growth–poverty linkages. Urbanization that takes advantage of the synergistic relationship between agriculture and small towns has the potential to result in a more inclusive growth trajectory.     

小城镇建设与全面小康社会的实现

全面小康是我们党在十六大报告上提出的21世纪的宏伟目标,小城镇建设则是实现全面小康的重要途径和手段,起着桥梁和纽带的作用.由总体小康向全面小康的转变,也促使小城镇建设的理念随之改变.小城镇建设必须因地制宜,实现体制创新,谋求全方位的发展,而政府在小城镇建设中的作用定位则只能限于"公共领域",即"市场失灵"领域.     

加快发展小城镇的几点建议

小城镇是农村一定区域内的政治、经济、文化中心，是联系城市和乡村的桥粱和纽带，又是城市人口的发源地、设立城市的后备队。采取切实有效的措施来发展小城镇，对促进农村的发展实现和谐社会具有深远的影响。     

云南省水富县小城镇发展的动因和对策研究

对云南省昭通市水富县的城镇化的现状进行调查分析,从内因和外因两个方面研究了水富县小城镇发展的动力机制,提出水富县加快小城镇发展的战略选择和措施。     

国内外旅游小城镇研究综述

"旅游小城镇"作为推动中国旅游业二次创业以及推进中国城市化进程的重要途径,在国家政策层面得到了大力支持,在实践中也得到了快速推广.但在学术研究层面,对旅游小城镇的系统研究却突显滞后.本文笔者对目前国内外关于旅游小城镇的研究状况进行归纳概述,并作相关研究评价,指出比较国外的研究,国内对旅游小城镇的研究缺乏系统性,尤其对旅游小城镇经济发展形态与效果评估、旅游小城镇社区参与等课题的研究涉及较少.基于此判断,运用产业经济学研究旅游小城镇的形成和演化是今后旅游小城镇深层次研究的重要突破口.
