本文介绍了电机生产计划计算机优化系统.该系统主要由模型优化和数据处理两大部分组成,采用结构化方法进行系统分析与设计.该系统解决了合理、充分地利用有限原材料的问题,为工厂制订更合理、更科学的生产计划提供了必要的信息。

本文从技术经济学的角度出发,分析了加热炉炉衬的最优设计问题,建立了数学模型,并给出了计算机运算程序框图。     

Organizational performance in a regulated environment: The role of strategic orientation

This study explores the influence of governmental regulation on organizational strategies and performance outcomes. Drawing on literature in strategic management, we provide a longitudinal empirical analysis of viable strategies in the U.S. domestic airline industry during a 6-year period (1965-70) when it was regulated by the Civil Aeronautics Board. Results indicate that air carriers were indeed able to articulate coherent strategic postures despite regulatory constraints, and were thus able to influence profitability.     

Self-reliance and participation of the poor in the development process in the Third World

A self-reliant approach to Third World economic development provides a new orientation in development strategy. Its central emphasis is on meeting the basic needs of the poor and in encouraging them to participate in the development process. The author argues that this participative process is not only the answer to Third World problems but also a global necessity.     

英国四大银行经营战略的变革与启示

上世纪90年代以前,英国银行在“大的是好的”的观念引导下,采取了不计代价追求规模、增长和市场份额的经营战略,这与我国目前多元化银行组织体系下各类银行普遍追求业务规模和市场份额,并导致整个银行业经营战略趋同的状况颇为相似。20世纪90年代以后,英国银行业在日益严峻的竞争环境下,逐渐认识到大的并不总是美好的,必须将战略重点集中于具有核心竞争能力的领域,实施各具特色的经营战略。随着我国金融市场的不断开放和分业经营限制的逐步松动,以四大银行为首的我国商业银行在向综合化和国际化发展过程中,应根据自身情况确立市场与业务定位,有所为有所不为,努力发挥自身长处,实施更加体现核心竞争力的差异化经营战略。

Realising the Potential – and Lost Opportunities – for Peer Collaboration in D&T Setting

This paper follows up our theoretical discussion of the potential for collaborative problem solving in Design and Technology (Hennessy and Murphy, 1999). In this paper we report our empirical investigation of peer collaboration in a setting where we identified the presence of significant pre-conditions for productive collaboration. The study investigated the participation of two boys aged 13 who worked together with their teacher over 8 weeks in designing and making an aid for a child with a disability. We analysed their participation using a framework of key features derived from the research literature. Our analyses yielded evidence of effective collaboration in the early design stage, but the students' collaboration and their progress were subsequently undermined. The reasons related to the students' ability to collaborate and the tension for the teacher between students' learning needs and client needs within an authentic activity. The outcome was a successful product but a wealth of lost opportunities – and lack of support – for the students' collaborative problem solving and Design and Technology (D&T) learning. Our observations confirm that despite little evidence of collaboration in D&T, this setting offers extensive resources for supporting collaboration in joint design, planning and problem-solving activities. We also identify impediments to collaboration as a learning mechanism. This revised version was published online in July 2006 with corrections to the Cover Date.     

An analysis of the profitability of businesses of diversified companies

This paper presents empirical evidence on the relationship between diversification and profitability. The data set used in the analysis includes data on 55 U.S. corporations who participated in phase II of the project on Profit Impact of Market Strategy (PIMS).Following upon the pioneering work of Carl Kaysen, complex indices of diversification are developed. Cross sectional regression analyses indicate a statistically significant positive association between measures of corporate diversification and measures of business profitability (return on investment or profit margin on sales). These relationships are insensitive to variations in the treatment of outliers, and do not appear to be accounting artifacts.
