一种低迭代次数的极化码置信传播译码算法

针对置信传播（Belief Propagation,BP）译码算法在迭代次数较多时吞吐量和译码时延性能提升受限的问题,提出了一种低迭代次数的极化码BP译码算法,通过采用比特翻转和子信道冻结的方式,降低译码过程中的迭代次数。仿真结果表明,相对于传统极化码BP译码算法（设置最大迭代次数为40次）,所提算法在信噪比为3 dB时可将平均迭代次数减少约53%,处理单元平均计算次数减少约68%。该算法所带来的低时延和低功耗效益可运用在对功耗要求较高的大规模机器类型通信,以及对时延要求较高的超可靠低延迟通信等5G场景下的极化码译码中。     

Conservative belief and rationality

Playersʼ beliefs may be incompatible, in the sense that player i can assign probability 1 to an event E to which player j assigns probability 0. One way to block incompatibility is to assume a common prior. We consider here a different approach: we require playersʼ beliefs to be conservative, in the sense that all players must ascribe the actual world positive probability. We show that common conservative belief of rationality (CCBR) characterizes strategies in the support of a subjective correlated equilibrium where all playersʼ beliefs have common support. We also define a notion of strong rationalizability, and show that it is characterized by CCBR.

中国特色社会主义共同理想是青年大学生社会实践的价值目标。对青年大学生群体中国特色社会主义共同理想生成过程、影响因素、生成方式问题研究,从根本上属于主体与客体、思维与存在的关系问题,是主体从感性直观到理性思维,从理性思维到理想信念,从理想信念到实践行动的政治心理优化过程,即“以行而求知,因知以进行”、“行其所不知以改其所知”、“因其已知而更进于行”的过程。因而,其过程的研究对于大学生思想政治教育工作具有启发性意义。     

The Role of Belief in Making a Difference in Enhancing Attachment to a Charity Sport Event

Charity sport events provide charitable organizations with a mechanism to communicate the mission of the charity to a large participant base, while fostering a meaningful event experience for event participants. This research examines the relationship among motives for charity sport event participation, participant belief in making a difference, and attachment to the event. In making this examination, an online questionnaire was administered to participants in the 2007 Lance Armstrong Foundation (LAF) LIVESTRONG Challenge (N = 568). Through structural equation modeling, the results demonstrate that belief in making a difference mediates the relationship between social and charity motives and attachment. Suggestions are made for marketing communication, highlighting belief in making a difference via rituals, symbols, and social media to assist in attracting and retaining participants.

Asymmetric Volume‐Return Relation and Concentrated Trading in LIFFE Futures

This study demonstrates that intraday volume and return on LIFFE interest rate and currency futures exhibit an asymmetric volume‐return relationship characterised by significantly larger volume associated with negative returns than with non‐negative returns. This finding is unlike the stylised asymmetric relation often observed in equity markets, where the volume on price rise is larger than the volume on price decline. The asymmetric relationship in LIFFE futures is also found to be dynamic as the direction of asymmetry can reverse during the day. It has been argued in the past that a costly short sale restriction that requires a higher transaction cost on a short position than on a long position is responsible for the asymmetric effect in equity markets. Since such a restriction is absent in futures markets, they should not exhibit any asymmetric volume behaviour. Based on the results of this research, the costly short sale hypothesis is rejected. An alternative explanation of the asymmetric relation observed in futures is presented based on recent information models that take into consideration asymmetrically‐informed traders, their dispersion of beliefs, quality and quantity of the information signal, and how the traders process it. The paper also confirms a strong U‐shape trading pattern in 15‐minute volume, but no such pattern is identified in intraday returns.

当今大学生正处在社会深刻变革的重要时期，加强和改进大学生的思想教育工作是关系到二十一世纪国家前途和命运的大事，是社会主义精神文明建设的一项战略任务。针对目前大学生所处的这一新形势，试图从理想信念、心理健康、社会实践与创新、网络化教育等不同方面解决这一问题。     

宪法的信仰与中国的法治化

在中国 ,宪法的信仰是一个全新的提法。文章提出 ,人们对法律的信仰是历史的必然 ,人们对法律的信仰又始于对宪法的信仰 ,进而论证法治是宪法信仰的基础。笔者认为 ,宪法的信仰只能生长在法治的环境之中 ,另一方面 ,中国的法治化也需要宪法的信仰作为支持。     

Minimal belief change, Pareto-optimality and logical consequence

Summary. A rational agent changes her beliefs in response to new information; a widely held idea is that such belief changes should be minimal. This paper is an overview of the theory of minimal belief revision. I employ a decision-theoretic framework to compare various principles for minimal belief revision. The main topics covered include the AGM postulates for belief revision, belief contraction, Grove's representation theorem, axioms for conditionals, and the connections between minimal belief change and questions in formal logic. I characterize under what conditions belief revision functions are consistent with the Levi Identity, and under what conditions belief contraction functions are consistent with the Harper Identity.
