This study examines fairness perception of ancillary fees across different industries, and ways to communicate ancillary fees in a way that reduces customers' feeling that they are being unfairly treated. Through surveys and consumer experiments, we show that consumers’ perception of fairness decreases as the level of ancillary fees increases, with differences across industries. Also, when the customer is given a cue that the ancillary fees are necessary for low base prices, fairness perception increases, explained by the “dual entitlement” concept. Another effective communication strategy is early disclosure, as opposed to late disclosure which decreases fairness perception and willingness to recommend.  相似文献

In-store displays aim to boost sales of both utilitarian and hedonic products. Noting typical differences in the information processing and purchase behavior evoked by these product types, and building on congruency theory principles, the authors propose that different types of in-store displays (i.e., island, end-of-aisle, or shelf signage) are more appropriate for utilitarian versus hedonic products, and the use of price or product promotions might reinforce these effects. With a database that combines three data sources (scanner, observational, and survey), this article presents an analysis of a market share model at the SKU level. The results confirm that in-store displays have differential effects on sales, depending on their characteristics; congruency between the decision-making process of utilitarian versus hedonic products and the characteristics of in-store display types moderates their effectiveness in terms of SKU sales. Shelf signage strongly increases the sales of utilitarian products, whereas island and end-of-aisle displays increase sales of hedonic product categories more effectively. The use of congruent promotions creates synergistic influences that reinforce these effects. In particular, price promotions improve the impact of shelf signage on utilitarian products, and product promotions strengthen the impacts of island and end-of-aisle displays on hedonic products. These results extend prior research on in-store marketing actions and the nature of utilitarian versus hedonic products, as well as providing recommendations for retailers and manufacturers seeking to optimize their retail space and commercial budgets.  相似文献

仿制药专利挑战机制是我国药品专利链接制度的核心环节。在现有规范体系下进行制度构建,存在同现行《专利法》抵触的问题,通过立法或释法活动化解这种冲突具有必要性。在解释学范式下对仿制药品专利挑战侵权拟制、侵权解释两种立法进路进行推演和反思,并辅之以制度体系、国际比较、法律政策、经济分析等视角,可得出拟制进路更为可行的结论。在拟制进路下进行制度构建,应遵循法律拟制技术规范,并妥善处理制度配套问题。  相似文献

互联网新创企业国际化战略目标及实施路径独具特色,逐渐成为研究热点。以北京小桔科技有限公司为案例对象,基于业绩反馈理论和前景理论,构建“期望落差-二元情境-狙击型国际化”的研究框架,系统揭示互联网新创企业狙击型国际化行为及实现机制。研究发现:期望落差促使互联网新创企业实施狙击型国际化战略,资源条件与市场环境二元情境在其中具有调节作用,即在资源劣势-市场壁垒高情境下采取“组合拳”模式的狙击型国际化,在资源劣势-市场壁垒低情境下采取界内合作模式的狙击型国际化,在资源优势-市场壁垒高情境下采取跨界协作模式的狙击型国际化,在资源优势-市场壁垒低情境下采取市场控制模式的狙击型国际化。  相似文献

基于企业基础资源观和组织学习理论,从知识型员工个人和组织社会网络两个方面构建知识型员工双重社会网络影响企业创新绩效的理论模型,分析知识共享、组织学习及资源整合在员工双重社会网络对企业创新绩效影响机制中的作用。结果表明:知识型员工双重社会网络对科技型企业创新绩效的作用路径有3条,资源获取与整合、知识共享与学习及员工动态创新能力分别在其中发挥中介作用;在不同类型组织文化环境中,知识型员工双重社会网络对企业创新绩效的作用特征、作用重点以及作用机制存在显著差异,内部整合维度主要通过知识共享和组织学习影响企业创新绩效,外部适应维度主要通过隐性知识传播和资源整合影响企业创新绩效。  相似文献

Abstract

This paper measures the degree of bank competition in India using a sample of 70 commercial banks over the period 1996–2016. To assess the degree of competition, we estimate the market power of each bank in our sample employing three nonstructural measures: the Lerner index, the adjusted Lerner index, and the Boone indicator. Bank-wise and year-wise estimates of the marginal cost required in all these measures are obtained using the semi-parametric method. The paper further attempts to undertake a comprehensive assessment of competition in Indian banking and identifies various bank-specific, macroeconomic, structural, and contestability indicators, which are supposed to explain level and variation of the degree of competition over time. Empirical findings reveal that public-sector banks in India exercise a relatively higher degree of bank competition compared to private and foreign-sector banks. However, aggregate results support that the Indian banking system is competitive in general. Unlike the structure-conduct-performance paradigm, which advocates that a concentrated banking system impairs competitiveness, our findings reveal that concentration measures hardly exert any effect on bank competition. Rather, contestability measures play a significant role in the determination of bank competition.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

Firm innovation is embedded in a collaboration network among researchers and a knowledge network composed of knowledge elements; the two networks are decoupled. Guided by social network theory, this study puts forward the definition and the classification of firm dual network structure, probes into the influence of dual network structure on firm performance, and explores the alignment between innovation strategy and firm dual network structure. We conduct an empirical study of 183 listed companies in China from 2004 to 2018. It is found that the four types of dual network structure all have positive impacts on firm performance, and the impact of a collaboration network is slightly higher than that of a knowledge network. Besides, innovation strategy plays a positive moderating role in the relationship between dual network structure and firm performance. Our findings provide new ideas for firms to identify and optimise knowledge and collaboration network structures and match them with innovation strategy to improve performance.  相似文献

当大病的自付医疗费用支出占家庭非食品支出的比例超过一定门槛值时,灾难性医疗支出发生,会增大因病致贫或返贫的概率。本文基于中国家庭追踪调查数据库(CFPS)2014年数据,利用A-F多维贫困测量方法有效识别贫困家庭,探究因病致贫发生率。大病冲击使贫困发生率增加15%,总财富减少6.9%。我们还发现医疗保险、社会资本及民间借贷对因病致贫都具有缓冲效应。这三种缓冲垫具有各自比较优势:医疗保险对中低收入家庭或中高疾病风险家庭缓冲效应显著;社会资本的缓冲效应只存在中高收入家庭或高风险疾病家庭;民间借贷只对低收入家庭具有缓冲效应。因此,家庭尤其是低收入家庭应合理利用缓冲垫,提高大病冲击的抵御能力,降低因病致贫的发生率。  相似文献

将企业研发模式分为自主研发、合作研发和双重研发三种,使用世界银行对中国制造业企业的调查数据,通过倾向得分匹配方法探究不同研发模式对企业创新绩效的作用效果及其在异质性企业中的差异情况。全样本研究结果表明:企业双重研发对创新绩效的激励效果最好,合作研发的激励效果次之,自主研发的激励效果最弱。企业异质性研究结果显示:自主研发对高成长性企业创新绩效的激励效果最显著,合作研发对低成长性企业和小微企业的激励效果最显著;对于无融资约束的企业,双重研发模式是提升创新绩效的最佳选择,但是对有融资约束的企业,其提升效果最弱。  相似文献

基于创业网络理论、创业学习理论和创业成长理论,构建创业网络双重嵌入、双元创业学习、自我效能以及大学生新创企业绩效内在逻辑关系模型。基于168份大学生新创企业样本数据,应用结构方程模型进行实证研究。结果表明,相比网络关系嵌入,网络结构嵌入对大学生新创企业绩效的正向影响更为显著;相比网络结构嵌入,网络关系嵌入对大学生创业学习的影响更为显著;大学生创业学习在网络结构和网络关系嵌入影响大学生新创企业绩效中均发挥部分中介作用,且对网络关系作用传导更明显;自我效能正向调节网络结构嵌入和关系嵌入对大学生新创企业绩效的影响。  相似文献
